She Should Run

The spring elections are fast approaching! If you self-identify as a woman- our union needs you!

#Sheshouldrun is a project to inspire, empower and encourage women to run for elected positions especially sabbatical roles. Focusing on practical support, we will run workshops and events to demystify the process for women students wanting to get involved in the student union.

From next Monday there will be stalls on each campus where you can drop in and find out more about the events and workshops that will be held as part of the campaign.

Our first event the launch of the campaign will be next Tuesday at 18:00 at Bush House SE Wing 2.03. We will be joined by the NUS Women’s Office, Sarah Lasoye, and two former sabbatical officers. Come along and hear why should you get involved in student politics. This campaign is organised by myself and Sparsh, the Women's Officer.
