Wellbeing Initiative Event Planning Guide

Are you a Wellbeing Lead that wants to improve your community’s wellbeing? Great! Here’s how to make it happen:

Note: You should start this process at least 3 weeks before running initiative and you must complete this process for every event you run.

Download a copy of the Planning Guide and Risk Assessment document you'll need here.

If you are planning on applying for funding, please read the Wellbeing Fund Guidance beforehand.

Before Initiative:

Idea: Decide what wellbeing initiative you’ll do that promotes positive wellbeing for students and focuses on one or more of the King’s Way to Wellbeing.

Details: Decide the Event Name, Event Date, Event Description – you will need these for the application form.

Space: Book a room (if relevant) or create a virtual event link for where the event will be.

Risk: Complete the risk assessment form – ensure you complete all 3 pages.

Apply:  Complete the Wellbeing Initiative Application form at least three weeks before initiative. If you are applying for funding, you’ll do that in this form too.

Promote: Complete the Event Promotion Form at least two weeks before your event to promote it and share through your own channels as well. If you promote it on instagram, tag @KCLSUWellbeing so we can share it.

At Initiative

Feedback: Have attendees complete follow-up survey at end of event: https://kclsu.typeform.com/wellbeingevent

After Initiative

Reporting: Complete the Wellbeing Lead Event Report no later than 2 weeks after your event.
