Your Representative

Hi everyone! I'm Dulcie, your new VP Activities and Development. I've just graduated from my undergraduate degree in Classics (Greek and Latin). Before starting uni, all I knew was that I wanted to come to London, and King's seemed like the perfect choice. I have loved the last three years and am excited to continue my journey with KCLSU!

I walked around the Welcome Fair in my first week and decided I wanted to try something new; despite never being 'sporty' in school, I fell in love with sport at University and worked at King's Sport and Wellness for my final two years. My time with my sports club completely shaped my university experience, providing me with new friends, confidence, and skills. It was also my experience as Vice-President and then President that encouraged me to run for this role, having seen firsthand where things could improve.

I am passionate about ensuring all student groups can thrive and feel supported by KCLSU, and that everyone has the opportunity to participate in them. I am already working with the Community Development Team to improve our internal processes, ensuring that our work is communicated effectively and demonstrates the tangible impact of your feedback.

I am also focusing on accessibility to extra-curricular activities, finding ways to mitigate the cost-of-living increases, and allowing all students to engage without financial barriers. I'm also working alongside your VP Welfare and Community to improve the reporting systems for harassment. I hope that, through doing this, everybody feels safe to participate fully during their time at King's.

I'm really looking forward to this coming year and hope to be a champion for student voice within KCLSU and the University. Please do contact me with anything student group related - I can't wait to meet and work with you all :)

Fix Report & Support Campaign – February 2026

As part of my goal to increase safety on campus, I've been working on the Fix Report & Support campaign alongside VP Welfare & Community, Fatima Hire. This campaign aims to improve King’s reporting and support systems so that they better meet the needs of students affected by gender-based violence. I’m pleased to share that we’ve already secured a number of key wins, and you can read more about them on our campaign page: Fix Report + Support
