A Slice of History
The history of pizza dates back centuries, with its roots traced to Naples, Italy. Legend has it that the Margherita pizza was created in 1889 when pizzaiolo Raffaele Esposito crafted a pizza in honour of Queen Margherita. Topped with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil, the tricolour creation symbolised the Italian flag and became an instant classic. From the streets of Naples to every corner of the globe, pizza has evolved into a culinary masterpiece loved by people of all cultures.
Make Your Own Pizza
Making pizza can be super easy, if you aren’t a huge fan of cooking! All you need is to buy pizza bases, tomato sauce from the top, mozzarella cheese, and toppings of your choice. Cook it at your oven’s hottest temperature until the cheese is bubbling and browning.
