There will be a Members’ Meeting via MS Teams at 5pm on Friday 22 October 2021 to discuss the motion ‘Should KCLSU support the UCU Strikes?’.

Voting opens from 5pm on Friday 22 October 2021 and closes Sunday 24 October at 5pm (UK time).

As some background the University & College Union (UCU) is asking their members, including King’s lecturers, professors, technicians, researchers and administrators to vote for or against taking strike action later this year, in response to proposed changes to pay and pension arrangements.

The meeting will include an overview of the position from both UCU and King’s management. It will be an opportunity to ask questions, have your say on KCLSU’s position as well as have your voice heard.

Can’t attend the meeting? Don’t worry, we will record the meeting and you can still vote during the polling period.

Polling will remain open until 5pm on Sunday 24 October 2021.
