Welcome to King's College London Men's Rugby Club, better known as KCLRFC! We are the official Men's Rugby Club of KCL, initially founded in 1869; we are one of the oldest and finest clubs in the world. We are rich with tradition supported by a long and illustrious history. The club is open to anyone and everyone, regardless of prior rugby experience and the course they are studying.

Currently, the club has two squads which compete within the BUCS league (games are played on Wednesday). The 1st XV is our most competitive squad, and the players making up the squad are afforded the luxury of playing the London Varsity against UCL and the Macadam Cup against our medic counterpart, GKT. We also have our strong 2nd XV squad, which has its own variation of the aforementioned games. Each squad also takes part in an additional Cup, which takes place over the season.

The club offers many social events throughout the year. The most typical form of social event you will attend if a member of the club is our post-match socials organised by our committee's social secs; the club also arranges two dinners throughout the year (Christmas and summer) to celebrate current members of the club and our achievements throughout the rugby calendar. We also have a yearly club tour where the majority of the club members take a few days abroad to relax after the season. A significant event is Rob Tagg, which brings together present and past club members to remember one of our own who tragically lost his life playing this beautiful game we all love.

The club is also very much involved with charitable projects. The club yearly takes part in Movember, with many boys growing a moustache in support of the incredible charity by raising money for men's mental health. In addition to this, we are also in support of the Oddballs Foundation. We are always looking for charities to support this through the club and the game of rugby.

We have ties with two additional clubs based in London, King's College Hospital Rugby Club (KCH) and Hammersmith and Fulham Rugby Club. These two clubs allow boys the chance, if they wish, to train and play more outside our allocated times. Also, clubs may be possible to join after finishing university rugby and staying in London.

Key information:
- Training takes place every Monday and Friday at Berrylands (6-8pm).
- Games are played by every team on Wednesdays (Home or away).
- Social members can take part in all aspects of the club except for playing games.

If you've got any questions, don't hesitate to contact the 2023/2024 Club's President Felix Peterson ([email protected] / +44 7467260325) or text the club on Instagram (@kclrfc).
