GKT Musical Theatre! A society to get involved with the arts and performance scene at King’s College London. Regardless of experience, we welcome you to join us in developing your skills, expressing your passion for theatre and/or simply having fun!
This year’s mainstage is Jekyll and Hyde which will be shown at the Greenwood Theatre in February 2024! Written by Wildhorn and Bricusse, it tells the story of Henry Jekyll, a doctor, as he tries to fight his murderous alter ego, Hyde. It’s a story of love, hope, self-discovery and, of course, crime with beautiful music. Details for the workshop and auditions will be announced soon so keep an eye out for updates!
Apart from the mainstage, there are plenty of other opportunities to get involved such as through our socials, showcases, outreach and charity performances, 24-hour musicals and collaborations with other societies! At GKTMT we want to show that musical theatre is for everyone! We encourage anyone who wants to get involved, should it be cast, crew, orchestra or production team, to contact us and join GKT Musical Theatre!
