Roar News is King’s College London’s multi-award-winning tabloid for students.
It leads the news agenda at the university with exclusive stories and classic tabloid campaigning, bringing students, staff and alumni everything they need to know about King’s. We also have thriving Comment, Culture, Sports and Podcast sections.
In 2015 and 2018, Roar was named the best student paper in the country by the Student Publication Association (SPA). More recently, in 2022, we were deemed the second best student publication in the country. At the SPA's Regional Awards in 2023, we won Best Publication in London.
Roar is editorially independent of the university and the Students’ Union and is staffed entirely by students.
