Ahlen Wa Sahlen Ya Marhaba,
The King’s College London Arabic Society is a cultural university society aimed at bringing together Arab and non-Arab students at the university and to give an insight into Arab culture, traditions, and history.
The Arabic Society acts as a meeting point and contact hub for all Arab and non-Arabs students on campus. It aims to represent Arab culture and to offer its membership maximum support to enhance their understanding of Arab traditions. We also aim to present a platform for speakers from, or interested, in the Arab world with the topics of discussion covering politics, history, the arts, and culture. With 500+ members and so many events; the Arabic society has proven to be one of the fastest growing and most vibrant societies at King’s and is open to people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, races, and beliefs.
Do you miss the Arabic sound and culture? Or are you interested to hear and learn about it? Are you Arab and homesick? Or are you a non-Arab and curious? Do you like Arabian food, music, and culture? Would you like to meet Arabs at King’s? Whether it is the variety, the delicious Arabic food, or music you’re after, the Arabic society has something for everyone.
We hold frequent events ranging from Dinners, End of Year Balls, movie nights, Arabic lessons and belly-dancing for girls. Our parties and social events are particularly renowned on campus, so where ever your interests may lie you are sure to find something tantalising!
We’ve got big plans, and we’d love for you to be a part of them and to join in!
See you on campus!
