We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race.

Welcome to the 2023 King's Poetry Society! It is our opinion that poetry is one of the most intricate and beautiful ways to express oneself. This community's shared love for poetry—both reading and writing it—is a feeling we wish to encourage and explore. To this end, this year will mark an increase in collaborative events, workshop sessions, and simple afternoons full of coffee and critique. We also aim to send out newsletters on a monthly basis, which will culminate in a final annual journal, The King's Poet. We have chosen to maintain our minimal membership fee to ensure that everyone is able to join us and indulge in our events. We can't wait to have you on board!
