Looking for a charity governance opportunity working in a top UK University community?  If you think you might be interested in developing your governance career by working to support students, KCLSU would love to hear from you.  King’s College London Students’ Union is looking for a full-time Governance Coordinator.

This role is initially is offered for a 3 month contract, subject to business needs. The successful candidate will commence as soon as possible.

The Governance Coordinator, Member Regulations will be responsible for supporting the Head of Governance and Compliance with the delivery of the Governance Strategy.  This includes supporting all aspects of corporate governance for KCLSU: in particular assisting Complaints, Member Disciplinary Procedures, Incident Reporting Management; the policy and procedures associated with complaints; reporting of complaint numbers and categories (reports to the Senior Leadership Team, Sub-Committees and Board); and the recording and escalation of incidents and accidents under our health and safety and risk management processes. The post-holder will also assist in the communication of Governance across KCLSU and support the process of staff and Trustee engagement.

The post provides an opportunity to learn the functions and operations of effective governance in a charity and education setting. 

Location:  KCLSU is based in Bush House, Strand, London WC2 (near Temple Underground station).  The Governance Coordinator role may be performed in a combination of office and home-based.
