KCLSU is a £7m student led charity that is here to make sure that every student at King’s has the best student experience possible. The post holder will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a range of external organisations interested in reaching Kings Students and our associated student groups. The ideal candidate will network and develop contacts aligned to our students’ needs and KCLSU’s values, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular account management and work collaboratively with internal colleagues and external clients to develop imaginative and creative solutions to broaden our income.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of selling advertising and media packages
  • Experience of developing and maintaining a sales pipeline and management of accounts
  • Effective relationship management and knowledge of cultivating strong partnerships
  • Entrepreneurial skills and the ability to identify and develop opportunities
  • A flexible and hardworking aptitude with a proactive work style

 

To work as an effective member, you will need to:

  • Research current market trends and develop appropriate sales prospects and quality leads
  • Develop sponsorship opportunities across KCLSU, particularly for signature events such as Varsity and Student Awards
  • Accurately forecast and report on agrees income and sponsorship targets
  • Act as the main point of contact for external clients engaging with KCLSU
