Volunteering and Fundraising is a great way to enhance your student experience, meet new friends and gain valuable experience for your CV.
There’s always time to add some volunteering hours while you’re at King’s. KCLSU supports over 50 volunteering and fundraising student groups aiming to make a difference in the community or raise money for a good cause. Last year our groups raised a huge total of £100,467.25 for charity!
Can’t find a project that you want to work on? We can help you set up your own volunteering or fundraising initiative. We would be happy to hear from you email@example.com
Whether you can only devote a few hours a year or are able to volunteer throughout the year, getting involved is a great way to meet new people, get fully involved in uni life, have fun and be part of something really rewarding. It’s also a way to develop your skills and enhance your CV.
Did you know 73% of employers would hire those who have volunteering experience over those who haven’t, even if they have the same qualifications? Over 725,000 students in the UK currently volunteer! That's 31% of the entire higher education population.
So why not get started?
