Overview

We'll be watching one or two short films regarding diversity in the surf industry and its challenges. Afterwards, we'll discuss the films as well as readings on the subject matter which will be circulated beforehand. We have invited guest speakers to this discussion from Surfers Not Street Children and Waves for Change. Finally, we'll cap this informative evening off with a raffle for a copy of the very first book to comprehensively document and celebrate surfing and related street culture in Africa, AFROSURF. All raffle pledges will go towards supporting SNSC and Waves for Change.
