I believe I am suited for this role on the committee because I possess the key qualities of communication, passion and organisation that are required.

Coordinating a show thrives on organisation and coordination between many people, therefore communication is vital to succeeding in this task. As a sociable person, I believe I am suited for this role because of my ability to communicate easily and efficiently with others. My previous experience as stage manager on the show this year and organising two cultural weeks in Sixth form has provided me with experience with utilising time and sourcing external vendors.

More importantly coordinating with a number of people who are on different schedules. As a result, I understand the value of teamwork and how to collaborate with others. I will work towards creating a cooperative planning process, where the outcome of the show is a product of teamwork.

In order to productively overcome the obstacles that come with producing a show, you need to be passionate. As someone that is passionate about showcasing and promoting culture and talent, I believe we can all be the driving force of creativity and innovation for 'Culture Shock 2024'.
