vibes co-ordinator????

Hi, I’m victoria. On social media I go by vicksirr and I have accumulated over 2.5 million views and 400 thousand+ likes on tiktok in months since i’ve started.

I’ve always been very fond of social media and i’ve been quite a creative person since I was little. I’ve always loved making videos, editing them, writing scripts and portraying different characters in these videos. I always aim to make people laugh or share important messages through whatever I create.

I enjoy all of the creative arts singing dancing acting etc, and I also enjoy expressing my emotions in the form of poetry/lyrics/spoken word. I like doing hair, cooking (not cleaning), being creative outside in public, experimenting with what I wear and i’m a sports girl through and through.

Now, let me land…

My random list of interests is not me trying to hit the word count, my intention is to highlight the fact that each and every one of us have many different feelings, emotions and interests, different ideas and forms of expression that we would all share with an  audience if given the chance. I personally understand that different forms of expression require different forms of representation in order to accentuate the various meanings and intentions.

With the hundreds of different countries and cultures within this ACS alone, from Haiti and Trinidad to Sierra Leone and Senegal to Ethiopia and Somalia; I would love to be responsible for the documentation and publication of ACS expression. Everyone has something to give.

At events i will attempt to capture the true intention or “vibe” of the gathering and store the ambience on the different social media outlets for everyone to reminisce upon.

When applicable, I will aim to diversify the avenues we use to promote our acs for a large range of different interests to be catered for eg spoken word pieces from students relating to relevant topics we should be commenting about as a society.

People come to KCL from different cities in England, areas within the UK, or countries within the world. We want our media to represent us to students that haven’t arrived at KCL yet, for them to see a variety of interests and cultures on the ACS social media pages that may intrigue them.

We could also use publicity to gage the interests of the people the committee are tending towards using direct surveys or analysing the interaction of certain posts related to certain subjects. This will allow us to post more engaging content and potentially grow the KCLACS brand name. This would create a larger level of trust and therefore people will more likely come to ticketed events and share us on their social media’s. The more engagement we receive, the more students will understand the benefits of being attached to this ACS and it will give them a sense of community.

I know this isn’t the usual publicity manifesto but social media can change lives, it allows people to express themselves in ways they could have never imagined and the inspiration you can take from the things you see and hear is monumental. Representing the ACS in a variety of ways to make everyone feel safe, heard and represented is extremely important to me. ACS are a collection of extremely talented and gifted individuals, and I aim to share that in the best ways possible.
