We are dedicated to campaigning to lift the stigma that surrounds mental illness both within King’s College London and the wider community. Furthermore we aim to campaign for improved mental health provision both in the society and the university.
Beyond our campaigning, we also aim to provide a space for students to discuss their own experiences. This is in addition to facilitating engagement with resources and support that students can look to when necessary.
Moreover, we aim to take part in charitable activities focussed upon fundraising for mental health charities.
The society is open to any students with an open mind, regardless of whether they are personally connected to mental health, or simply intrigued and willing to raise awareness and campaign for greater knowledge surrounding this taboo subject.
