Student Officers make real change for students at King’s. This year alone, the Officers you voted in have won £4million to improve the WiFi on campus, abolished resit fees, made sure international and postgraduate research students won’t have to pay above inflation for tuition fees and a lot more.

This could be you next year. Any student can nominate themselves as a Student Officer. At last year’s AGM, you voted to have a fifth Officer, so there are five positions you can put yourself forward for this year:

President
Vice President Activities and Development
Vice President Education (Arts & Sciences)
Vice President Education (Health)
Vice President Welfare and Community

Running to be a Student Officer means elevating the student voice to decision makers at King’s, KCLSU and across the national student movement. It’ll also give you some unbeatable personal development and leadership skills as this is a full-time, paid post.

Nominations open at 7pm on Thursday 23 January and close at 12 noon Monday 24 February. Put yourself, or someone you think could be a Change Maker, on kclsu.org/elections.
