Overview
Join the Black Student Network, the KCL LGBTQ+ Society, and Proudly King's for an exciting an informative panel featuring black LGBTQ+ activists and community organizers. The conversation will dive deep into the history and importance of the black queer voice in the traditionally white spaces of mainstream LGBTQ+ activism. The audience will be treated to personal anecdotes, words of wisdom, and unique perspectives from the esteemed panelists.

1. The Chief Executive Officer of Pride in London, Christopher Joel-Desheilds (He/Him)
2. British Model, Writer, & Award-Winning Asexual Activist, Yasmin Benoit (She/Her)
3. KCL Undergraduate Law Student, Founder of the Trans Legal Clinic, and National Student Pride's Reigning Activist of the Year, Olivia Campbell-Cavendish (She/Her)
4. The Queer Student Awards Reigning Queer of the Year and Role Model of the Year, Co-Chair of the KCLSU Black Students Network, and Co-President of the KCL LGBTQ+ Society, Taj Donville-Outerbridge (They/He)
The panel will be Moderated by KCL Politics Student and Chair of the Young Fabians LGBTQ+ Network, Lewis Warner (He/Him).
The panel will run for 90 minutes starting at 7 pm sharp with a networking opportunity following.
This event is open to all KCL students and staff as well as students and staff from any London University.
