The KCL Afghan Welfare Society, in partnership with the Hiking, EMDP, and Photography Society, is proud to introduce the upcoming Charity GMT Hike. This thrilling event will take place in London and offer participants a unique and exciting experience. The hike will include a variety of activities such as visiting farm, exploring scenic photography areas, visiting local markets, and museums, and taking a ferry ride across the Thames. As well as, an opportunity to have a picnic at a royal park - please bring your own food, there will be shops available.
The hike will begin at the West Plaza of Canary Wharf Underground Station - which can be accessed via the Elizabeth line, Jubilee line, DLR or buses. Please ensure to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. The hike is open to all levels and you will be able to leave at any point. The total route length is approximately 6 miles.
Tickets for this event are available for £5 per person and must be purchased in advance. It is important to note that all tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, as the proceeds will be donated towards the Al-Ayn supporting orphans in Afghanistan.
