What are the candidate briefings?

  • Candidate briefings help candidates understand KCLSU Elections and the mandatory rules. We will go through;
    • the role of being a trustee of KCLSU,
    • campaigning and campaign parameters,
    • election principles,
    • the complaints procedure,
    • resources, and wellbeing.
  • Candidate briefings are mandatory to attend for Full-Time Officers, Student Trustee candidates, and media groups participating in election promotion. There will be optional briefings for student groups.

When are the candidate briefings?

  • The candidate briefings are between 17-19 February at the following times and locations:
    • Tuesday 17 February (5-7pm), ARF, Bush House, Strand Campus.
    • Wednesday 18 February (12-2pm), Online.
    • Thursday 19 February (5-7pm), AR5, Guy's Campus.
      • There will be optional candidate briefings for student groups.
      • Candidate briefings are mandatory for Full-Time Officer & Student Trustee candidates.

What are the candidate pictures?

  • Full-Time Officer and Student Trustee candidates must have their candidate picture taken. We will host drop-in sessions for candidate photos on 17 February (Strand) and 19 February (Guy's). Candidates will receive further information.
