KCL Cut The Rent

Supported
The cut the rent campaign's main aim is to make halls affordable. Students have student maintenance loans that don't even cover rent, let alone food. This is affecting students wellbeing and needs to be CUT.

Campaign Impact

This campaign was fighting to reduce accommodation costs and ended in Summer 2020.

How will the campaign impact King's students?

It will massively change students wellbeing and priorities. Student's come to King's to study, but have to worry constantly about affording rent. Not only this but considering how expensive rent is King's is cutting off many people with the possibility of the opportunity to study at King's.

Which students at King's will the campaign impact?

ALL students living in halls.
