Looking for a space to talk with other students who identify as neurodivergent or who have ongoing mental health conditions? Somewhere to share resources, experiences and solidarity without fear of stigma or judgement? Join us for the launch of our Discord server (and the society itself!) in the week commencing 15th November!
Who can join?
The KCL Neurodiversity and Mental Health Society is open to all students; including students who do not have lived experience but who are interested to learn more about these topics. Whether you are an undergraduate and or postgraduate, based in the UK or learning from a distance – you are welcome. However, there will be some protected spaces in the society that are only open to people who are neurodivergent or who have long-term mental health conditions, as well as LGBTQ+ and POC-only spaces. This is to ensure that everybody has a place where they feel able to ‘unmask’ and connect with other people who may have similar experiences and backgrounds.
How do I sign up?
We're asking all our members to complete this form before we sign them up: www.tinyurl.com/NDMHsoc. This is to help us understand and cater to all our members and ensure that the society is a safe, fun and useful space for everyone. It also helps us make sure that all our members are genuine KCL students, so please be sure to provide your KCL email address. We’ll go live after the close of Wellbeing Week, so all you need to do is fill in the form and then wait for your email invite to our Discord server on 15th November at around 2pm!
For more information about the society, check out www.tinyurl.com/NDMHSocInfo. Otherwise, we look forward to welcoming you very soon!
