Varsity 2020 is here and Weightlifting is ready!

We expect to send a full squad of lifters as well as a full support team to ensure we achieve the best possible result at Varsity. The already chosen squad have been attending club sessions more frequently and planned team socials have been boosting the team chemistry ahead of our first Varsity competition. So far club sessions are averaging at least 18 of our 27 (semester 2) members, twice a week, showing the dedication and commitment of our team and the consistent quality in coaching now. One thing to look out for are some new members who have already qualified for national championships competing for the first time against another University team. In turn, this will be a final chance for the University's best lifters to perform at their peak before heading off to BUCs a couple of months later.
