Overview

KCLSU Wellbeing is running Sexual Health and Guidance (SHAG) Week from 5th - 9th February!

Porn and Pizza Party

On the first day of SHAG Week, we'll be joined by Gareth from Tailor Education for a workshop on porn literacy.

Porn is increasingly easy to access for young people these days and porn can often influence our perceptions of sex, relationships and body image. In this workshop, we will consider how we can critically evaluate porn and discuss the differences between what we might see in media portrayals versus real-life relationships and sexual experiences. You can read more about topics covered in the session here.

Tailor Education are dedicated to delivering comprehensive, inspiring and empowering Relationships & Sex Education (RSE). You can find out more about them here.

We'll kick off the event with some pizza from The Vault so be sure to join us on time! The workshop will not last the full 90 minutes but there will be a little time either side to chat with other people there and eat!

Spaces are limited and tickets will be required so please book your free space to guarantee your spot!
