Nominations for the Student Council Bye-elections and Student Trustee elections are now open!

If you want to put yourself forward, read on.

There are two Trustee positions available, one for a 1-year term (ending on July 2014) and one for a 2-year term (ending on July 2015). Responsibilities as a Trustee include:

  • Being responsible for the performance of KCLSU and for its behaviour
  • Making comprehensive and robust decisions on the future of KCLSU
  • Acting as guardians of the organisations assets

Being a Trustee gives you a unique insight into the Union and College whilst developing your skills in areas such as entrepreneurship, communication, business and customer awareness and a lot more.

There are also three roles on the Student Council that need to be filled:

  • Biomedical Sciences School Rep
  • Institute of Psychiatry Rep
  • Postgraduate Research Officer

These roles give you the chance to really make changes for the students you study with and to make sure their views are represented to the College, at KCLSU and throughout the national student movement.

Nominations close at 12 noon on Friday 1 November so check out our Elections page now.
