Fair Information

Here are all the key details and information about this year's KCLSU Welcome Fair. It's the perfect opportunity to find out what university life has to offer you. The information below will help you make the most of the event but if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact us at events@kclsu.org

Key Information

Remember that this event is only for King's students. Please do not bring any guests or visitors.
Have your ticket (or a screenshot) and King's ID (if you've received it) ready when you enter. This will speed up the process and reduce your waiting time. You will need to show your ticket to join the queue, and your ticket will be rechecked when you enter the venue.
When you enter the event, you'll be given a coloured wristband. Listen out for announcements about your wristband colour. You will be asked to leave the fair at a specific time to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy the Welcome Fair.
There will be an accessible entrance on the roadside of the venue (Lower Thames Street). This is for students who require step-free access or are unable to queue for long periods.

There are no scheduled fire alarms on the day, so if you hear one, please follow the fire marshals' instructions immediately.

Key Tips

Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during your visit.
Be prepared for all weather, rain or shine! Bring your hats, sunscreen, raincoat and umbrellas so you don’t get too warm or wet in the outdoor queue.
You won't need a bag at Welcome Fair as we’ll be giving everyone a free KCLSU tote bag on arrival to keep hold of all your freebies. However, if you do bring one, it will need to be checked before you enter the fair.
