Get ready for One World Festival!

The One World Festival is back from Monday 24 January to Friday 28 January! During this week, we give you the opportunity to celebrate the different backgrounds, cultures, and faiths that define our community here at King’s. This week will be filled with events where you will be able to discover the different lifestyles and customs of your peers, so stay tuned.

The isolation that has sometimes been forced on us in the past two years reminds us more than ever of the importance of community. Being part of the King’s community means accepting people regardless of where they come from, and this week is a great opportunity to show this solidarity we cherish. Here at King’s, there are students from over 150 countries, and celebrating this diversity is at the heart of the One World Week. The best way to do this is to stay curious and go out and discover different cultures and traditions from your own! One World is the perfect time for King’s students to discover the amazing differences that unite us.

While this is important, so is food! In conjunction with these cultural events there will be a One World Food Festival, where many different societies representing different parts of the world will give out traditional food.
