A huge congratulations to KCLSU’s bars – The Vault and Guy’s Bar – who shone at the Best Bar None Awards on the 28th of June.
This achievement was made possible by our fantastic student staff, working alongside the commercial team, who pour the drinks and create the food that brings our venues to life.
Our not-for-profit student bars were awarded a Gold Accreditation and came in a very impressive third place nationally.
Best Bar None is a national award scheme supported by the Home Office and drinks industry, which assesses venues in the areas of venue management, staff training and care, customer safety and welfare, and customer service and community. The goal of the award scheme is to reward excellence, raise industry standards and support licensed premises serving alcohol to protect the interests of their most vulnerable customers.
We are currently working hard to prepare our bars for an action-packed return to university in September and can’t wait to welcome you all back!
