King’s College London Boat Club is the universities greatest sports club; our history dates back to the 1800's making us one of the oldest and most established.

Anyone can join KCLBC; we take complete novices and experienced athletes. No matter what your level of commitment, there will be a boat for you. We can take you from a complete amateur, into a fit and active athlete in your first year of rowing.

KCLBC has the best coaches; Our womens coach, Ben Sthamer, and our mens coach, Saravanan Ramachandran, oversee the development of the senior and fresher squads. This means every member of our club is guaranteed the best coaching and athletic development there is.

Racing, racing and more racing; the club competes nationally in both British Rowing and BUCs races including the major Tideway head races, BUCS Regatta and Henley Royal and Women’s Regattas. Closer to home there are opportunities for some intercollegiate rivalry against UCL, RUMS, St. Georges, ICSM and the other London universities.

We train hard, but we also party hard; the highlight of the social calendar is the annual tour to Cambridge in November, but we are always well represented every Wednesday sports night at Guys bar and the Vault. We have many black-tie events throughout the year, including our Christmas dinner and Summer ball, starting with champagne and canapes in the iconic Colonade at Guy's campus.
