Transitioning and adapting to university life is an obviously challenging experience for everyone, but this is particularly the case for those of us who are the first to attend university in our immediate family. But it shouldn’t be, and that’s what the First Generation Network is here for.
University life should be as comfortable and enjoyable for you as possible and so we are extremely passionate about tackling these extra barriers and hurdles that we face.
By creating a space where we can relate to one another, we hope to foster an environment that you feel reassured in and valued, and for us all to then use that encouragement and stimulation to make positive changes.
