Interested in Cardiology? Cardiothoracic Surgery? Basic Cardiac Science?

The KCL Cardiovascular Society is a long-standing student society dedicated to all things cardiovascular. We run a wide range of events throughout the year to educate, inspire, and support students with an interest in cardiovascular science and medicine.

This year (2025/26), for the very first time, we’ll also be focusing on providing research opportunities for students through a brand-new, unique initiative – so keep an eye out!

We offer:

Regular talks from clinicians and expert speakers
Educational evening sessions with FREE supporting resources, including detailed booklets
Clinical and preclinical exam and OSCE revision sessions
Hands-on workshops and simulations
A number of clinical and community-based projects
Our annual International Cardiovascular Conference

KCL Cardiovascular Society also has a rich history of outreach work. Our Heart Health in Schools (HHiS) programme allows students to visit primary schools across London to teach children about cardiovascular health and the heart.
