The KCL East Asia and Middle East Law Society aims to equip our students with a rigorous, international understanding of the law to help them break into the legal field in a rapidly changing profession. As jurisdictions in East Asia and the Middle East continue to shape global commerce, and as AI reshapes what we consider entry level legal tasks, future lawyers will need breadth, context, and comparative insight. The society provides career support as well as structured exposure to commercial, competition and other legal topics across these regions, examining how they interact with global markets and UK legal practice.
