Hello and welcome to KCL Haematology Society!
We are a student-led society dedicated to exploring both benign and malignant haematological conditions, while supporting students to develop their academic knowledge, clinical understanding, and career insight in haematology.
We aim to complement the medical curriculum by delivering engaging teaching sessions, academic talks, and career-focused events throughout the year, led by clinicians, researchers, and senior students. Our teaching series helps consolidate core topics and exam-relevant content, while our academic talks highlight cutting-edge research, innovation, and developments in haematology.
We also run a structured mentorship programme connecting students with clinicians, researchers, and senior students, offering guidance, networking opportunities, and insight into careers within haematology and related specialties.
Alongside this, we are committed to raising awareness of haematological conditions and supporting related charities through fundraising and outreach initiatives.
A key part of our society is building community. We host social events throughout the year, including collaborations with other societies, to bring students together across year groups and disciplines in a supportive and inclusive environment.
