Missing some warmth in this unpredictable London weather? Or some hot spicy Mummy’s food? Or simply the company of some fellow homies? Solution: come drop by in the quarters of the KCL Mauritian Society!!!
Founded this year itself, the KCL Mauritian Society aims to promote the Mauritian culture amongst the KCL student body, making them discover our rich heritage, amazing food, the warmth of our people and all the incredible stuff that makes us who we are. Furthermore, as we know that being miles away from home can be a real challenge, we help our members cope with university life better by giving adequate support, advice and tips to make the most of King's.
The events we have planned for this year include a welcome event for the fresher’s fair, a Mauritian night for Independence Day, movie/games nights and also a project to give a better opportunity to do electives in Mauritius, especially to medical students. More details will be available in due time.

On a final note, these words from Mark Twain could not explain our island better:
“God created Mauritius first then paradise, paradise being an exact copy of the island.”
