At KCLSU, our community is shaped by the students and groups who go above and beyond to make King’s a welcoming, supportive, and inspiring place for everyone. KCLSU Awards celebrate those who enhance the King’s experience through their involvement in Liberation Months, Welcome, One World Festival, and other student-focused events, creating spaces where students can connect, explore their culture, celebrate and truly feel they belong.
When reviewing nominations, we’re looking for the stories behind that impact — the specific examples, events, achievements, and experiences that show how the nominees have gone the extra mile and why their efforts matter. What makes a nomination powerful is not just what someone has done, but how they’ve made others feel. We want to hear the personal side too: how this person or group has influenced your journey at King’s, supported you, or changed your university experience for the better. Recognition isn’t about how many nominations someone receives, but the thought, care, and detail within each one. By sharing meaningful stories and clear examples, you help us celebrate those who truly deserve to be recognised for the difference they make every day.
