KCLSU Students' Elections 2024 - Time to vote!

It's time for another KCLSU Students’ Election. The KCLSU Students’ Election is a crucial opportunity for those within the King's community to choose their leaders for the coming year. Students from across the University will be making themselves heard, choosing from within the student body who will lead their student groups, and those who will lead the Union and sit on the board of trustees.
We have outlined the most important information for you below:

  • Voting will continue to be held via the KCLSU website. You can cast your vote from there in the evening, or at an in-person polling station during the day. Read along for more information.

  • Votes will be cast using the Single Transferable Vote formula (STV), meaning that you can vote in order of preference, so your second/third/fourth etc. choices also matter! To find out more about STV, click here.

  • There will also be an opportunity to vote re-open nominations for each role.

  • A candidate needs at minimum one vote to be elected, even when standing unopposed.
