Buying Tickets

NB: Please note that our website cannot process single payments over £150. If your purchase exceeds this amount, please break it up into smaller amounts. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Online: New Students

If you're becoming a King's College London student in September, you’ll need to register a Freshers Account before you can purchase any event tickets. Your Freshers' Login is a temporary account for you to use until you're fully enrolled at King's College London. Once you've started your course, we'll match your Freshers' Online Account to your King's Shibboleth Login that you'll use for other university systems. Here are a few things to remember to help us match up your accounts:

  1. Use the name you applied to King's College London with, not a nickname or an abbreviation.
  2. Register with a personal email address e.g. Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo.
  3. If you've been given a student ID include it on the form.

Once you've registered, we'll send you an activation link so check your inbox. Sometimes your spam filter will send the link to your Junk Mail folder, so don't forget to check there too.

Online: Current KCL Students and Guests

To book most KCLSU Events tickets online you need to be a current student at King’s College London. As a student, you’re automatically registered to use the KCLSU website. You’ll need to be logged in to purchase tickets. Your login details are the same as you use for your King’s Shibboleth login.

Some events are open to everyone. If you’re not a King’s student and want to book tickets for an Unlocking London event, you’ll first need to register with our website.

If you’re having trouble logging in email your details to [email protected] and we’ll get it sorted for you.

Note: There is a 70p booking fee per ticket bought online.

Terms and Conditions

The majority of our events are non-refundable, however if you have mitigating circumstances please get in touch with us on [email protected] and we can discuss various options.

Event Descriptions

Whilst we do our best to give a full event description of the event, if you feel unsure about the suitability of the event, please contact us on [email protected] for more detailed information before purchasing a ticket.

Ticket confirmation

Your receipt is your booking confirmation. This will be sent to you via email. If you haven’t received it a few hours after you’ve made your booking online, first check your Junk Mail folder, as sometimes they end up there. If it’s still missing you can resend a booking confirmation by following these simple steps:

  1. Login at kclsu.org.
  2. Click the ‘basket’ link in the top right menu bar.
  3. Find the reference number that matches the tickets you purchased and click on it.
  4. Select ‘Resend email receipt’.
  5. Check your inbox.

If you still haven’t received your confirmation, don’t worry. Just bring some photo ID to the event with you. We have a list of everyone’s names ‘on the door’. You can also check your purchase history on this page.
