Our coach for the 2023/24 academic year are from Team Tieu, one of the largest and most successful combat academies in Europe, based in London!
The training sessions for this year are as follows:
- Monday (Advanced): 5:00-7:00pm (AR2, West Wing, Guy's Campus)
- Tuesday (Mixed/All levels welcome): 5:00-7:00pm (AR1, West Wing, Guy's Campus)
- Wednesday (Casual): 6:00-7:00pm (AR4, West Wing, Guy's Campus)
- Thursday (Beginners): 5:00-7:00pm (AR1, West Wing, Guy's Campus)
- Sunday (Sparring): 4:00-6:00pm (AR4, West Wing, Guy's Campus)
Price: payable directly to a member of the committee at the end of the session - please note we are unable to accept card payments for sessions. All sessions will be free taster sessions for the first two weeks of uni!
- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: £4 for members, £8 for non-members
- Wednesday and Sunday: £2 for members, £4 for non-members
All training equipment is provided (gloves, shin guards and pads) and we train barefoot, so trainers are not required! Just bring some hand wraps if you have them, otherwise just sports wear and water! Free KCL Muay Thai hand wraps come with the membership!
We are a large, active and continuously developing society, accepting new members throughout the year. Not only do we offer the opportunity to train in what is considered one of the most well-rounded martial arts, but we host several events and socials, where you can get to know your fellow teammates and fight nights! Come along and give it a try!
