"I've had the greatest privilege of being the MSA President this year, working closely with my wonderful committee to ensure GKT students' needs as medical students are heard and addressed.  My key responsibilities have included promoting and defending the interests of all of GKT and acting as the lead voice of students to the school, KCLSU and external organisations.

My key highlights this year have been seeing the great work of my committee come to life, "Humans of GKT" as well as this year's fantastic Freshers' fortnight and also Welfare Week are testament to the great work the committee have put in. Whilst this is indeed a time consuming role, I have had my best year at medical school and wouldn't change it for the world.

I'm extremely proud to be part of a team that has the students' best interest at heart and will always work to improve student experience. I highly recommend volunteering whilst at university if you're up for the challenge!" - Faeez Ramjan

Fizz was nominated for his passion and dedication to the position of MSA President. In particular, given the current circumstances surrounding Covid-19, he stepped up in his role by collating concerns from the student body, tabulating them and putting them forward to the Dean. Through creating this line of communication with the faculty, they have taken this feedback on board and have decided to host zoom webinars for each year group to help alleviate these concerns. Amazing work Fizz!
