Autumn is the season for a lot of things. Halloween. Orange. Everything smelling of dead leaves. Pumpkin spice lattes (which are absolutely delicious). Most importantly for us at KCLSU, though, autumn is election season!
As students at King’s College London, you’re automatically KCLSU members, and that means you’ve got a vote in our Autumn Elections. Voting begins on Monday, 15th October, and ends on Thursday, 18th October.
You can now check out the full list of candidates here . Make sure you have your say and help shape our Union!
Voting in our elections gives you a say in our student union is run. The Student Trustees you’ll elect in the Autumn Elections, for example, sit on the highest governing board of KCLSU, our Trustee Board, and will be making decisions that set the direction of our student union for the future. You’ll also elect students for our Union Development Committees and to be academic reps and hall leaders, who will represent you in your courses, departments and halls of residence.
Women, LGBT+ and transgender students will also be able to vote for NUS Women’s, LGBT+ and Trans Conference delegates to represent them on a national level, while mature students will be able to vote for their Mature Students Officer.
Your vote is your voice – use it!
