Congratulations to EcoSoc for earning a 2014-15 Green Stripe! They’re the first society to achieve the award for sustainability, which was started in April 2015.

Writing for the KCL Sustainability blog, organising a clothing swap for Green Week 2015 and having members make pledges to reduce their carbon footprints are some of the ways EcoSoc got their Green Stripe. 

They’re also working on an ongoing project to improve King’s green space on campus, by providing students with a space to develop gardening skills and increase overall sustainability. Have a look at their Facebook to learn more about their Urban Garden Project and see what they’re currently up to.
