Election results published; 70 percent increase in turnout

The first set of results for the 2017 Autumn Elections has been published following a 4 day online poll which ran from Monday 9 October to Thursday 12 October. This year saw a 70 percent increase in voter turnout over 2016. There were over 20K votes from 4, 260 students. This year also saw a record number of nominees with 582 candidates across all positions versus 389 last year.

We elected Student Trustees, Academic Reps, Hall Leaders, Association Reps, Disabled Student Officer, Union Development Committee members, NUS Delegates and a range of other positions. All positions have been announced except Hall Leaders.
