We are the official KCL Women's Football Club competing in the BUCS and LUSL leagues, as well as Macadam Cup (against GKT) and Varsity (against UCL). We have three amazing teams and we welcome players of all levels and from all courses. Regardless of your skill level, you will find a place in one of our teams. Our 3rd team supports beginners in recreational players in building their skills and confidence on the pitch, our 2nds are our intermediate level team, and our 1st XI competes at the highest level against other top universities. Our mission is to involve and encourage as many women as possible at King's to get involved in the sport we are all passionate about!
We enjoyed a record-breaking season in 2021/2022, bringing home the Macadam Cup against GKT, all-round Varsity cup against UCL, along with BUCS and LUSL wins. The club is an excellent environment to foster talent as well as bring beginners up to an excellent standard of play. We won KCLSU Club of the Year 2023 Award as well as our 1st XI received the KCLSU Team of the Year 2022 award for their standout performance. Most importantly, we are not just a team but a family both on and off the pitch!
We train once a week (Thursdays) at our training grounds in Honor Oak Park, and have matches on Wednesdays (BUCS) and Sundays (LUSL). We are always welcoming new players, so shoot us a message if you want to join! We welcome undergrads, postgrads, and study abroad students. All are welcome! We are one of the most social clubs at KCL, with many activities outside of the pitch that include weekly socials, a yearly tour abroad, fundraising events and many new initiatives coming this year.
