Welcome to KCL Women’s Volleyball! We are a fun, friendly, and committed group of students and are very excited to see that you’re interested in joining our club. Regardless of your skill level, we have some great opportunities for you to play!
For beginners and those who have minimal experience:
Our Social Membership includes invitations to themed socials, grass and beach volleyball sessions, and a 50% discount for KCL sessions with Pantheon Volleyball. You would be able to top-up your social membership with an annual BeActive membership for only £20! (Original price £30)
As we are in partnership with BeActive, volleyball sessions are held every Tuesday from 15:30-17:30 and Thursday from 18:30 to 20:30 at the Castle Centre (SE1 6FG). We’ll be hosting lots of drills and scrimmage, so make sure you’re there for an afternoon of fun!

For more experienced players looking to play competitively:
Our Standard Membership gives you access to the competitive BUCS team, with the club covering all coaching and travel costs.
1st team
Our 1st team is currently competing in BUCS South Eastern Division 1 and is a King’s Sport Performance Team. We train on Sundays with a qualified coach. Our fixtures take place every Wednesday afternoon against competitive universities from across the UK. In addition to BUCS, we also compete in tournaments such as Volleyball England’s Student Cup and the London Varsity Series. So, we are looking for new strong, competitive, and committed players to join our team and help us have a successful season!
Mixed Team
Another competitive opportunity we offer is the Mixed Team, in collaboration with the Men’s Volleyball team. This team competes in the London Universities Sports League (LUSL) and partakes in friendlier weekly matches against other universities in London. You can still compete in the Mixed team even if you don’t make the 1st team! Visit their website or instagram @kclmixedvc for more information.
