Trainings for Sport & Activity Group Committee Members

We are now offering two trainings for welfare roles of any sport or activity group. The following options are now available:

  • 14th September | Mental Health First Aid Lite by KCL Counselling | 2pm-5pm | Strand, K0.31
  • 15th September | Self-Care Training by KCL Wellbeing | 1pm-3pm | Strand, Somerset House East Wing, SW-2.12
  • 18th September | Self-Care Training by KCL Wellbeing | 6pm-8pm | Guy’s, West Wing, AR2
  • 20th September | Mental Health First Aid Lite by KCL Counselling |1:30-4:30pm | Guy’s, West Wing AR2

Please contact the Wellbeing Coordinator, Julia, to book on to one Self-Care Training and one Mental Health First Aid Lite Training. Those who attend both sessions will receive a certificate of completion and wellbeing gift; training is not complete if only one session is attended. Please note that spaces are limited and that Welfare Committee roles will be given priority, but other group representatives are also welcome to sign up so that one committee member is trained if space is available.

Wellbeing Week & Wellbeing Fund 

Is your group interested in running some wellbeing initiatives that promote positive wellbeing for students and focus on one or more of the King’s Way to Wellbeing? Great! There’s now a really easy way (with available funding) to do that – Wellbeing Week! Here’s how:

Run a wellbeing initiative during Wellbeing Week (23 October – 27 October) by applying for the Wellbeing Fund in Application Window 1 of the Development Fund
