If your project needs some money for things like resources, expenses, training or event costs, there are two KCLSU funds you can apply to for financial support:
King’s Community Fund
The King’s Community fund, is there to support ideas and projects aimed at improving your King’s community, or enabling you to be part of something positive with other students. Made possible by donations from King’s alumni, the fund is available to activity groups, clubs, representatives or individuals. You can bid for between £750 and £10,000 for each project. It’s there to help make an idea happen!

- Actively help others or further the community at King’s
- Promote educational advancement
- Encourage students to actively help the community

Widening Participation (WP) Fund
The WP fund is for any King’s students or student groups who would like to run a WP Outreach Project. You can apply to the fund by filling out the application form and returning it before midday on the Wednesday 5 December.
You can apply for up to £500 of funding to get your project going. Before applying to the fund it is a good idea to check out the Widening Participation section of the site and ensuring your project meets the WP criteria. You can also raise money for your project yourself by running a fundraiser like a bake sale, club night, quiz or dance show. Check out the fundraising page for more information.
