Welcome to KCLSU!

We are where you will make friends through joining sports clubs, societies and other student groups or through meeting new people in our cafes and bars. Our events programme will help you make the most of London nightlife as well as find and enjoy London’s many cultural attractions. We work with you to make the world a better place, be that by changing ourselves, our university or wider society. Also, should you run into any problems whilst here we can also give you advice about academic problems and hook you up with people who can help with other issues.

Our Union is for Postgrads too.

One of the ways students and the Union have improved the university experience is by introducing a VP Postgrad to fight for our diverse interests. Mahamed Abdullahi represents us. If you’ve got an idea about how to make things better our union is here to help. We’ve got representation for Postgraduate Research Students through the King's Doctoral Students Association (KDSA) and have been fighting for Fair Pay for GTAs.

King’s Doctoral Students Association (KDSA) KDSA is a student-led association exclusively for doctoral students at King’s that ensures equal representation for all candidates, from all disciplines. It is an autonomous body within the KCLSU representative structure. As a King’s doctoral student, you’re automatically part of KDSA. You can contact the committee at kdsa@kclsu.org - if you’re in Law or Arts and Humanities, you might want to stand for a committee position.

KCLSU is every student at King’s College London – Welcome to our Students’ Union

Welcome Fair

Come and say hello at the Welcome Fair where we can meet our student activity groups, sports and representative officers. It’ll be an amazing two-day event at the Barbican and so don’t miss out. In the mean time we’ve got a series of news stories coming out that’ll help us make the most of your time in the world’s greatest city and make our money last longer (spoiler - get an NUS Extra card).

Logging in

Register a guest account on our website to sign up for events, join societies and buy tickets.

It’s temporary; once you’ve started your course you should be able to use the ‘Student Login’. Here are a few things you’ll need to do to get started:

  • Use the name you applied to King’s College London with, not a nickname or an abbreviation
  • Register with your personal email address, Gmail, Hotmail, whatever, just not your King’s email address
  • If you’ve been given a student ID (tip: it’ll start with a K) include it in the form
  • Once you’ve registered, you’ll be sent an activation link. If you’ve got any questions the lovely people at website@kclsu.org will try and sort you out.

If you’ve got any questions, send an email to website@kclsu.org and we’ll do our best to help.
