You’ve heard it on the grapevine but now it’s official! The Maxwell Society’s formal boat party will be taking place this December 8th.

The boat has 200 person capacity and non-refundable tickets will be sold on KCLSU at a discounted price for members. If you’ve ordered a members ticket, we will require you to confirm your membership in person prior to boarding (details will be given nearer the time about how to do this)

The boat will depart promptly from Festival Pier, London, SE1 8XZ at 8:00 pm. Please arrive for 7:30 as this is when boarding will begin. We will arrive back at Festival Pier, London, SE1 8XZ at 12am. 

Once onboard, there will be a bar, DJ and security for the duration of the event

Important event details:

Please be aware that you will need to collect your physical ticket before attending the boat formal on the 8^th of December.

This can be done on the following dates:

Monday 6^th December: 10 am - 4 pm @ Bush House SE Wing 8^th floor

Wednesday 8^th December: 10 am – 4 pm @ Bush House SE Wing 8^th floor OR 7 pm at Festival Pier, London, SE1 8XZ before boarding.  (Boarding will start at 7:30 pm and the boat will leave at 8 pm sharp. We will not be able to wait for latecomers!)

Please bring proof of membership to the relevant society if you bought a discounted society members’ ticket.

It is preferable that you collect your ticket prior to the evening to avoid overcrowding of the pier. Attendees without tickets will not be allowed to board, and if you lose your ticket, it cannot be replaced. 

You will also be asked to present evidence of a negative covid test (taken within the last 48 hours) to be allowed on the boat. Refunds will not be issued if you fail to do so.
