Overview

We are planning a fresher's boat party at the MV Pearl of London vessel. This boat has a capacity of 340 passengers and only King's students will be able to attend. Attendants will be able to buy alcoholic drinks in the pay as you go bar and a DJ is provided by the company (London Party Boats). Embarkation will be at Tower Pier at 20:00, there is going to be a stop at Blackfriars Pier at 22:30 and Disembarkation is going to be at the Westminster Pier at 1:00.
We are planning to promote our event on social media and students should be able to buy tickets through the Biochemistry society website in the student groups section of the KCLSU website. A ticket should be £20 per person, which would allow us to cover the party costs and get a small profit, which we intend to use in future events.
